Patents are the absolute and exclusionary rights awarded for an invention which may be a product or a process or both. In a more exploratory manner, when an inventor invents or creates any product or process or both through his/her own intellect, presence of mind and abilities and get it registered with the International Registry i.e. ICRIPRO (International Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights Organization) in order to protect it from being infringed or theft of the basic idea or producing or using without prior permission of the inventor.

 

What are International Patents ?

The inventions which are made by an individual or a group of individuals of the same nation and is used internationally and can be patented or,

Those inventions which have came into existence as a result of the collective efforts put forward by group of individuals of various nations and those inventions are being used at international level and can be patented.

 

Are Patents registered Internationally ?

Yes. Patents can be registered internationally by ICRIPRO (International Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights Organization) like other similar Intellectual Property Rights which is the Ultimate Registry for registering Patents internationally.

 

What are the Consequences if Patents are not registered Internationally?

If Patents are not registered internationally by ICRIPRO (International Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights Organization) the inventions made by the inventor shall not be safe and secured and anyone having the intention of using it for its own Commercial benefits or can infringe it and there shall be no remedy available in the hands of the inventor and has to suffer million dollars losses.

How Patents safeguard the inventions?

The Inventor or The Owner of the Patent possess the absolute rights to prohibit others from the unethical usage of the patented product or process or both and cannot be taken into consideration for industrial or commercial benefits without the prior approval or permission from the Patent holder. If someone does so, the Patent holder may sue and file a legal suit against that particular person who had infringed the rights of the Patent holder.

All the inventions in the arenas of Information, technology, etc. whether products or processes or both can be awarded with the International Patent Registration Certificate by ICRIPRO upon realization of all the following under mentioned criterias - 

 

What is the Process of the Award of International Patent Registration Certificate?

 

At the beginning the applicant or the inventor has to verify that his/her invention has attained all the criterias required for the award of the International Patent Registration Certificate.

Afterwards, the applicant or inventor may apply for the International Patent Registration Certificate by successfully filling up the Registration Form for the same by furnishing all the relevant information and documents as stated in the Registration Form and the successful payment of Registration Fees.

In the later stage, all the furnished details and documents is passed forward in the Scrutiny Department of the ICRIPRO and upon receiving of OK Certified Statement from the Scrutiny Department, finally the International Patent Registration Certificate shall be awarded to the applicant or inventor for his/her inventions by ICRIPRO.

 

What is the Validity period of International Patent Registration Certificate?

International Patent Registration Certificate is awarded to a inventor or applicant either - 

For One Year or For Twenty Subsequent Years and can be renewed by the applicant or inventor upon the expiry of the same.

Name(s) of the Inventor/Group of Inventors/Organization/Group of Organizations

Address of the Inventor containing - Street Name, Apartment/Suite Name and Number, City, State or Province,  Zipcode or Postal Code, Country.

Title of the Invention which must be Unique 

Date of the invention containing Day, Month and Year.

Detailed Information about the invention (Both Product or Process) - The detailed information would contain all the relevant information related to the invention.

Name of the Patent holder, i.e. Ownership details of the Patent holder who would likely be the Owner of the invention after the Patent is granted by ICRIPRO (International Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights Organization).

Upload Invention Document (Manuscript) containing an abstract, Summary, Details of the invention be it Product or Process and Uniqueness Information.

An Abstract having 350 - 500 words containing an overview of the invention 

A Brief Summary in a bulleted list format in between 300 - 400 words providing the summarized view of the invention

Details of the Invention be it Product or Process, should contain all the relevant information about the invention which has been used in the process of invention and also after that.

Uniqueness Information that what are the Unique Features present inside the Invention which makes it exclusive from everything and is eligible for getting patented.
